The Kiss (International Songwriting Competition – ISC)

The idea of ‘phantom’ love, or feeling a love so deep even though the loved one is no longer physically there. This feeling of lingering emotion or love can be a natural part of grieving. A familiar presence, scent, or sound in the quietness of loss. Perhaps not having ‘closure’ when someone passes away, but yet a transformation of the emotional bond to a memory so real you can feel it.

As written in the song’s chorus:
